ALL DENNIS TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS
In our continued effort to clean up the Township from this past Winter's unprecedented storm damage, below find a schedule that our Public Works crew will be implementing on a daily basis until the brush collection is complete. Your patience has been greatly appreciated as we work our way through this massive undertaking. Please realize that we are making one trip through these areas and we will not be back until the fall cleanup. Please do not continue to pile brush and debris on the street after we have been through the area. This is very costly as we are working six days a week and we cannot be going back to areas again and again. The Township is making every effort to get this done in the most efficient and cost effective way, and your continued support and cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Area 4- We are currently in this area through April 21, 2010
Area 3 -April 22nd through April 30,2010
Area 2- May 5th through May 14, 2010
Area 1- May 18 though May 21, 2010

Census 2010

How It Benefits Your Community. The 2010 Census is your community's voice in government. When you fill out the census form, you’re making a statement about what resources your community needs going forward. Accurate data reflecting changes in your community are crucial in apportioning seats in the U.S. House of Representatives and deciding how more than $400 billion per year is allocated for projects like new hospitals and schools. That's more than $4 trillion over a 10-year period for things like new roads and schools, and services like job training centers.

NOTICE TO ALL RESIDENTS

On Tuesday, November 3rd Dennis Township lost one of our own. Albert J. Knoll former Township Committeeman, Mayor and Clerk/Administrator passed away at Cape Regional at age 47.
Al was a hometown boy who loved his community. He was appointed to fill an unexpired term as a Township Committee Member on 03/26/1984. In May of 1985 the Township suffered the loss of our Mayor Frank L. Murphy, Sr. and with his passing, Al at age 23 became the youngest Mayor in the State. Even though Al stepped out of the “political ring” his love of his community was strong and in January of 1988 Al accepted the position of Municipal Clerk and in January of 1992 Clerk/Administrator.
As with everything Al did, he excelled at his position and the Township was made better because of him. Al became ill in December, 2002 and had to retire at the end of August, 2003.
There will be a viewing at Radzieta Funeral Home on Hand Ave., Cape May Court House on Friday, November 6th from 10:00 am to noon with a service starting at noon.
Here at the Township we were grateful for the time we had with him and our thoughts and prayers are with the Knoll family.

The Township Code can be accessed from the Dennis Township website at: www.dennistwp.org via the left side navigation menu link titled "Dennis Township Code".
Residents are invited to view the Township Code online and enjoy the benefits offered by the latest in technology.
