The Township of Dennis has three (3) Volunteer Fire Departments, and one (1) Rescue Squad that provide emergency services to the residents and transient population in the Township.

Ocean View Volunteer Fire Department
Station 17 Fire
This department has two stations: in Ocean View and South Seaville.
The stations cover the towns of Ocean View, South Seaville, and Clermont.
Chief William Neely commands an all volunteer company of approximately 32 men and women.
Station 17 has U.S. Route 9 and the Garden State Parkway within its jurisdiction, and has a pumper and a rescue equipped with Jaws.

Located in Historic Dennisville, services the towns of North Dennis, Dennisville, and South Dennis.
Chief Michael Gihorski commands an all volunteer company of approximately 24 men and women.
The company also runs a Jaws of Life, Hurst equipped rescue truck to respond to the numerous MVA incidents that occur along Route 47 in their response area.

Station 22 Fire
Located in Belleplain and services the towns of Belleplain and Eldora.
Chief Nelson B. Kern oversees an all volunteer company of approximately 25 men and women.
