The project will begin at Route 47 and extend the entire length to CR 557 (junction with Washington Avenue.) The scope of the work includes milling and paving with new striping along with the installation of centerline and edge line reflective raised pavement markers.

The County anticipates that the Federal review process will extend until September 2022 at which time the project will be authorized. The normal project schedule will have us bidding the project in November with the anticipation of issuing a Notice to begin construction on March 1st. We expect the project to be completed by late May 2023.

Attached is a PDF of the preliminary plans. As part of the section 106 requirements for federal funding, the County is required to provide the public with the opportunity to review the plans and provide input. Therefore, the County has requested that the Township upload a copy of these plans onto our website for purpose of making the plans available to the public to view and provide comments if they deem appropriate. All comments should be forwarded to the County Engineer, Robert Church, and he will address them directly with the individuals. The cut off period for the county to receive public comments will be April 30th so as to allow for a timely submission to the State for final review.

Thank you
