The Township of Dennis is currently accepting applications for the part-time seasonal position of Recreation Attendant. The salary range is $10.00 – $15.00 per hour, and schedule would include evening, weekend and holiday hours. Public notice is hereby given that pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4.1(k) requests for proposals will be received by the Municipal Clerk, Township of Dennis, Cape May County, New Jersey for the Solar Power Purchase Agreement (SPPA) Re-Advertised for the Township of Dennis and Dennis Township School District opened and read in public at the Township of Dennis Municipal Building, 571 Petersburg Road, Dennisville, Cape May County, New Jersey 08214 on November7, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on October 23, 2019 at 10:00 am beginning at Township Hall, 571 Petersburg Road, Dennisville, New Jersey and then will proceed to the project site.
Bid Documents and Drawings for the proposed work, which have been prepared by DeBlasio & Associates, P.C., are available at the office of said Engineer at 4701 New Jersey Avenue, Wildwood, New Jersey 08260, and may be inspected by prospective bidders during business hours.
Bidders will be furnished with a copy of the Bid Documents by request upon proper notice and payment of a non-refundable charge of $50.00 payable to DeBlasio & Associates, P.C., for reproduction and processing.
Proposals must be made on the standard Proposal Forms in the manner designated in the Bid Documents, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the Bidder, and the name of the work on the outside addressed to Clerk, Township of Dennis. One (1) original and four (4) copies of said bids shall be addressed to: Jacqueline Justice, Clerk, Township of Dennis, 571 Petersburg Road, Dennisville, New Jersey 08214. Each bid shall be accompanied by either a Bid Bond, Certified or Cashier’s Check drawn to the order of the Township of Dennis for the amount of $20,000.00.
The bidder and subcontractors must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Schools Development Authority and the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction, and have a valid up-to-date notice of classification prior to the date that bids are received. Any bid submitted under the terms of the New Jersey statutes not including a copy of a valid and active pre-qualification/classification certificate will be rejected as being non-responsive to the bid requirements.
The bidders shall also be required to comply with the following:

- Certification Pursuant to P.L. 2012, C.25 (no investment activities in Iranian financial or energy sectors)

- Public Works Contractors Registration (J.S.A. 34:11-56.48).

The Township of Dennis reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt of said bids. The Township of Dennis also reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the best interest of the Township of Dennis.
Each proposal and bid must be submitted in accordance with the terms of the aforesaid specifications, must be made on standard proposal forms contained in the bid documents and shall be delivered to the place and hour mentioned above.

NOTICE is hereby given that on Thursday, October 31, 2019, sealed proposals will be received by the TOWNSHIP OF DENNIS at Township Hall, 571 Petersburg Road, Dennisville, New Jersey at the hour of 2:00 PM prevailing time, for RESURFACING HAGAN ROAD, Dennis Township at which place and time said bids will be publicly opened and read.
Specifications & Plans may be obtained at the office of the Township Clerk, Township Hall, 571 Petersburg Road, Dennisville, New Jersey, for a fee of $100.00 to cover the cost of preparation, no –part of which will be refunded.
A PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at the Site, HAGAN ROAD AND KINGS HIGHWAY, at 10:30 AM, Thursday, October 24, 2019.
Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and plainly marked in the lower quadrant:
“RESURFACING HAGAN ROAD”. The name and address of the bidders shall be on the envelope.
The form of the bid supplied by the TOWNHIP OF DENNIS must be used in bidding.
Bids must be submitted prior to the time designated above for receipt and opening of bids, and must be submitted either by mail or in person by the bidder or his agent. No bids will be received after the time designated above for their receipt.
Bids must be addressed to the Township Committee, Township of Dennis, 571 Petersburg Road, Dennisville, New Jersey 08214. Each bidder must deposit with his bid a certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10) percent of the lump sum bid (but not in excess of $20,000.00). The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive minor irregularities in any bid presented. Award, if any, will be made to the lowest and best responsible bidder at a formal meeting of Township Committee.
No bidder may withdraw his bond within 60 days after actual date of opening.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 105-31 (P.L. 1975, C. 127, as amended, Law Against Discrimination Affirmative Action Supplement).
Bidders are required to submit a statement of ownership with the bid, in compliance with N.J.S. 52:25-24.2 (P.L. 1977, C. 33). N.J. and Federal Prevailing Wage Acts apply to this project. Bidders’ attention is also called to the requirements of P.L. 2004, C 57 concerning registration with the State of New Jersey in order to do business with local contracting agencies. Proof of registration in the form of a copy of the Business Registration Certification must be submitted at time of bid submission by all bidders and named or listed subcontractors. Failure to comply will result in mandatory bid rejection.

The Dennis Township Chief Finance Officer invites sealed bids for Providing Solid Waste and Recyclable Materials Collection Services for the Township of Dennis.
