The Township of Dennis, New Jersey will conduct a series of public visioning workshops and public hearings as part of the municipality’s participation in the Plan Endorsement process administered by the New Jersey Office of Planning Advocacy.
The purpose of the community visioning process is to engage residents, businesses, community organizations, and stakeholders in identifying a shared vision for the future of Dennis Township. Input gathered during this process will assist in the development of a Vision Statement that will guide planning, land use, and development decisions and will support the municipality’s petition for Plan Endorsement.
The Township Committee will be conducting four facilitated public workshops and three public hearings where the preliminary Vision Statement will be presented, discussed, and refined with public input.

The purpose of these meetings is to present, review, and solicit public comments regarding the development of the municipality’s Vision Statement, which will ultimately be considered for adoption by the municipal governing body and submitted to the New Jersey Office of Planning Advocacy as part of the Plan Endorsement petition.
All members of the public are encouraged to attend and participate. Those unable to attend are asked to submit the following survey: https://forms.gle/ncqKUzmpfLzwVjTAA. Written comments may also be submitted to the Township Administrator at prior to or at the meetings.
Notices for each workshop and hearing are being provided at least ten (10) days in advance and will be promoted through available communication channels including the municipal website, public postings, and local media outlets to encourage community participation.
